Who already works this way — and exactly how.

A public register of steward-owned companies: who holds the votes, who receives the profits, and how the structure is locked. Every entry links to its sources and shows when we last checked it.

Is your company foundation-owned, or does it separate voting rights from profit rights? Tell us. We list a company only after checking its articles and the commercial register.

International reference cases

Reference profiles of Bosch, Zeiss, Carlsberg, Novo Nordisk, Patagonia and Ecosia are being verified against primary sources and will appear here.

How we list companies

  1. 01

    Control

Votes sit with people or a body connected to the company — not with outside owners who could sell it.

  2. 02

    Profits

Owners cannot freely extract profits: they are reinvested, used for the purpose, or paid out within a cap.

  3. 03

    Lock

Both rules are written into the articles, a foundation charter or a golden share — not just promised.

  4. 04

    Sources

Every entry cites public sources and shows the date we last checked it.
